By driving home the idea of we the French can indirectly deliver a blow to the British and keep our won countrymen out of harm’s way, could have possibly risen morale and reestablish the support of the Monarchy from the citizens. This would have deter the idea of revolting against the Crown and kept the people content with Monarchy.
