However, it will also encourage efforts to improve the scope and capacity of ASEAN cooperation.
Thirdly, ASEAN has been moving to make the cooperation more widely in Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific region, with multilateral new. ASEAN made a new change in the development phase started in 2003. They realize that if the Association and this group is to maintain credibility and momentum, it must cooperate in efforts to foster economic and political cooperation. For example the ASEAN countries with China to keep foreign investors (FDI), but they have done so for example ten separate economies with different laws in different economic activities.
Lastly, the ASEAN group has been established consisting of politics, though collaboration and security.Economic cooperation and social culture that closely will strengthen for the purpose of ensuring the well-being, stability and prosperity to be shared. The Declaration of ASEAN Bali Concord II also as confirmation of ASEAN to enhance economic relations by fostering the spirit of ASEAN's competitiveness and investment can benefit and in compliance with the agreement and cooperation so that the ASEAN Community mission can be achieved in the year 2020.

ASEAN will endeavor to conquer the great power by means of involvement with multilateral institutions, which ASEAN-based, including the ASEAN post Ministerial Conference and the ASEAN regional forum.
