On a regular basis I don’t typically remember my dreams or even try to remember them. Keeping a sleep journal was a very hard thing for me to do. It was also difficult to know in what specific stage I was in during different times throughout the night. I can’t say for sure the amount of time I spent in each stage either. I can say that I could barely hear my alarm about two hours into the night, so I consider that to be REM because normally I hear my alarm just fine in the morning.
Most of the times when I would awaken during these times I would feel tired, confused and more than a little out of it. It was also hard to open my eyes, and to keep them open. My legs and arms tingled and felt ...view middle of the document...

I tend to press the snooze button at least twice every morning. I think that I am like most 20-year-olds in the circadian pattern, I consider myself a night owl.
During the weekends I tend go to sleep even later than I do during the weekdays, and wake up just as late on Saturdays. On Sundays I wake up early and go to sleep late. As I mentioned before, the day I am most tired is on Mondays. I don’t take naps during the weekends because I am usually out and about, but sometimes I wish I could.
I don’t feel that I dream very often, but I think that is because I just don’t remember my dreams. A lot of the dreams that I do remember having, often relate to events or things that happened on the previous day or even week. The dream that I had on March 7 probably happened because the day before I had just finished reading a psychological thriller novel. On March 12, my friend and I were joking about winning the lottery. Two days later I had a dream about becoming a millionaire.
