“They had won, but they were weary and bleeding. Slowly they began to limp back towards the farm. The sight of their dead comrades stretched upon the grass moved some of them to tears. And for a little while they halted in sorrowful silence at the place where the windmill had once stood” (Orwell 40). This is the perfect time for my takeover to start. The animals have lost confidence in their current leadership after the second battle with the humans. The death of their comrades, strenuous work, and dreadful conditions has strained their relationship with Napoleon and the pigs. It is time for the farm to go back to its beginnings before corruption took over. The plan to take over the farm from Napoleon has seven steps which are use sleeper agents, gain positive perspective, make alliances, cut Napoleon’s connections, incite the animals to revolt, get rid of the security, and gain Boxer’s loyalty.
The first step of the plan is to use sleeper agents inside the farm. Multiple animals on the farm do not agree with Napoleon’s method of running the farm. The reason the animals do not rebel against Napoleon is because of his attack dogs and Squealer’s eloquent words. Most of the animals that were doubtful of Napoleon such as Clover, Benjamin, Muriel and other defectors can help with gaining information from the farm. Information about the dealings in the farm is vital for this plan to work. Sleeper agents can also provide other uses such as sabotage and persuading the animals which leads to the next part of the plan, to gain positive perspective.
The second step of the plan is to gain positive perspective with the animals. Napoleon and Squealer has slandered my good name with their lies of sabotaging the farm for my personal gain. Most of the animals have bought these lies because their intelligence is very limited. Most of the animals will comply with their leaders without any hesitance.
