Door cracked, trails of blood spattered throughout the house. Floor boards squealing and squeaking as to give off warning of an invader, but not enough warning. Heartbeat thumping louder than moans of pain, more blood but in pools. That's when I saw my aunt with the door half busted laying on her beat body where she tried to take shelter from her ex boyfriend. She was beaten with a metal pipe. This was the first time I had met her personally, because she posted she was under attack by her husband and all she had was her iPod to text on Facebook that she needed help. Trespassing charge. Months later, I was at her house, between then he had broken in many times destroying her phones, computers, her crafts and hobby collections. He broke in and started beating her in the middle of the night while I was spending the night to ensure her safety. My aunt was twice my size, and he's twice hers. I didn't shoot him, I told him to leave, and never come back or next time I would shoot him.
I meant it.
The police were called again, they already knew where to go, they were there so often, but never did anything. I beat my arm with a brick from the back yard until it bled. I hid the gun back into it's hiding zone, and told the cops he attacked my aunt and I while we slept. The cops had to take it serious now because I was a minor at the time. By law it was a 5-10 year sentence, just for the assault on me.
The gun was never mentioned in court, and he was finally put away. Though, it was technically on false...
