Winning was always a must for me, it wasn’t that I needed to better but that I had to be better. But sometimes, I’m about to achieve something extraordinary and then I fail. (MC)(Round)
When I was in dance class, I told all my friends, especially Karma(flat), that I had the dance memorized and that I was the best. In the end, I froze and forgot everything.(H)(I2) All the girls laughed, everyone except for Karma who was just disappointed at me and said,“It’s alright don’t mind them.”
But she didn’t actually caring because on the inside she was just happy that her performance was the best. From that day onwards, I vowed my revenge on her for showing me false pity.

While doing so, I dozed off into a dream where I saw myself on an adult bike riding down a humongous hill and making it down safely. At the bottom of the hill there was a finish line with hundreds of people cheering me on but it wasn’t everyone cheering that caught my attention. Standing at the end of the crowd was Karma, just standing there smiling at me like the awesome friend she’s always been. As I saw myself cross that finish line and saw Karma praising me, I realized what my true objective was. I didn’t want to beat Karma, all I wanted was to be acknowledged by her and I was determined to achieve this goal.
Once we arrived at the campsite, it wasn’t hard to gather all the able and started some bike races. Just like I promised, I won them all but the job wasn’t finished. I took my bike and looked around the campsite for a super steep hill. The road was very bumpy and wasn’t the safest to ride on but I took my chances.
Before the sun could melt me, I found it next to the bathrooms. I looked down and paled a bit because I never imagined it to be that high. I almost went down the hill before I realized that I was sitting on a children’s bike and to complete the promise, I needed an adult bike.
“Hey uncle let me help you with that,” I said innocently while helping my uncle set up his tent.
“Thanks that’s real sweet of you Yangtso, but get to your point,” he said.
“I want to ride your bike,” I said relieved that I didn’t have to sweet talk him and dropped the tent.
“Oh, and why is that?”
“I want, no I need to ride it down the super steep hill next to the bathrooms.”
“Yangtso, aren’t you afraid of heights? I saw that hill myself and even I think it’s steep. Not only that, the road isn’t safe so I don’t think-” he said softly with a concerned tone.
“So you think that I can’t do it right? Well I don’t care what you say or do all I care about is getting your bike,” I snap.
“Sorry but no.”
“Fine I didn’t want your crappy bike in the first place,” I spat and stomped away.
I could’ve taken any of the other adults bikes but I was stubborn so I stole it when he wasn’t...
