There are many reasons why I think anabolic steroids should be legalized under certain guidelines. After doing my research and talking to friends and other people about the subject; I discovered that steroids aren’t more dangerous than other commonly used drugs and medications. Anabolic steroids have been proven to be beneficial in many different ways, I think it should be the consumer’s choice whether they want to use them or not.

Usually when I get into debate with someone who opposes steroids they haven’t really done any research and they just say what they’ve heard from someone else or something exaggerated from television. Some doctors even say that it causes kidney failure and other illnesses.
According to the research I’ve done, there have been no deaths from the use of steroids alone, the people that have been using steroids and then passed away; were using other drugs as well. They were using them irresponsibly. Like every other drug, steroids have side effects but it’s always because of the person taking them hasn’t done any research and they just did it because they had access. Most people that you reports about regarding steroids are, teens, bodybuilders that overuse them and people who just put them in their body without any research or advice, but regular guys that just go to the gym and don’t do it because of a sport or competition, are more cautious about how they use it because they just want to look good.
